All timings are approximate.  Please also allow an extra 15 minutes for your first appointment, as a full consultation will be carried out prior to treatment.  For treatments after 5pm and at weekends, there is an additional surcharge of £5.00.

If you are experiencing ongoing pain, and have consulted your GP and / or Chiropractor, a longer blended treatment may be helpful.  Please alert me at the time of booking if this is the case, so that I can ensure a 2 hour time slot for you.  During your treatment I can use advanced techniques, such as Tui Na Sacral Release, or Sensoma (good for necks & arms as well as back, hips & legs) if these are appropriate.  A 2 hour time slot will be charged at £50.00.

I can & often do utilise these techniques during more traditional massage & aromatherapy, however, the time needed for them has the knock-on effect of reducing the time spent on massaging the rest of the body - the choice is yours!

GIFT VOUCHERS are available for any of the treatments, or for a specified amount sterling.  Gift Vouchers are professionally printed on glossy card & supplied with envelopes.  They make beautiful presents that give pleasure in anticipation as well as when they are redeemed for a therapy.

ON-LINE PAYMENT is available through PayPal.  You will need to alert me by email as to which therapy you require or the amount in £ for a Gift Voucher to be applicable.  I will then set up an invoice via PayPal, which you can pay on-line.  Please note that using PayPal incurs an administration fee.  To keep this simple please add on an extra £4.00 for amounts up to £100 in the UK and £5.00 for payments from abroad.

POLITE REMINDER - If you are unable to keep your appointment please give at least 24 hours notice to avoid charge. Appointments must be cancelled by phone or in person.

BABY & INFANT MASSAGE INSTRUCTION

 BABY MASSAGE INSTRUCTION - HAVE A DIY CLASS AT HOME!

Baby & Infant Massage classes are now available, either on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.  Baby massage is beneficial both to baby & parent, aiding bonding, improving communication, increasing confidence, calms, soothes & relaxes, improves sleep for baby & parents.......

If you would like to set up your own group of Mums/Dads & Babies & are prepared to host this, I can offer you a set of 3 lessons (approx. 1 hour), at £5.00 each per lesson, payable at first lesson.  The group needs to be approx 5 adults with babies.  Whoever hosts the lesson does not pay for it.  

I can also supply sets of (my own design) Baby Massage prompt cards at £10.00 per set.

THERAPIES DURING PREGNANCY

The majority of therapies are perfectly safe throughout pregnancy, as long as there are no underlying complications.  It is general practice to avoid treating pregnant clients until they have passed the 12 week milestone.  Treatments can then be undertaken with either a Midwife or GP consent.

Only therapists who have undertaken additional training, such as myself, will be able to treat pregnant women, and it must be remembered that they are also treating the unborn baby.

I personally enjoy treating pregnant women, and encourage regular therapies through to full term.  The use of therapies can ease a variety of uncomfortable symptoms, whilst the mix of therapies can change throughout, to aid certain things at certain times: for example, during the final few weeks, whensnoring may be an issue, Hopi ear candling can be extremely beneficial.

It has been well documented that Reflexology throughout pregnancy will encourage a baby to be born on time, with the Mum experiencing a shorter labour.

A few Essential Oils must be avoided during pregnancy, however, most are safe when used at a lower concentration than the norm.  It is because of this that pre-blended massage mixes should be avoided during pregnancy, and whyonly qualified Aromatherapists with additional training should offerAromatherapy massage to pregnant clients.

When massage is the therapy of choice, this can be done with the 'Mum to be' either side lying on the couch, or in my specially adapted seated acupressure chair, or with the 'Mum to be' sat on an exercise ball, well-supported - leaning on pillows piled on the couch.

Thai Foot Massage is especially popular with my pregnant clients, often on a monthly basis.  Anyone who has had a Thai Foot Massage, & has been pregnant will understand why this is so!

I am also offering a 'Mum to be - Baby in waiting' Gift Voucher.  This is a two part gift voucher which retails at £50.00, making it a wonderful present to give to a Mum as she embarks on Maternity Leave. 

The gift voucher enables the 'Mum to be' to have a therapy before the birth, along with an introductory lesson in baby massage.  Following the birthshe can enjoy a second lesson with her baby for further 'hands on'instruction.
